  • In order to secure a good spot by the wave pool we suggest showing up early to obtain a spot in the shade, or near your favorite attraction. The only true way to guarantee a spot is to reserve a Cabana or VIP Seating.
  • All parking is FREE at Ocean Breeze Waterpark!
  • Ocean Breeze Waterpark has two ATM’s located inside the park. One at the main entrance and the other inside of the Island Trader Giftshop. 
  • If a problem should arise during your visit our Guest Relations staff will be happy to help you. Please visit them on the right side of the wave pool.


  • If you chose to leave the park and return later the same day be sure to get your hand stamped at the front gate before leaving! 
  • Everyone who enters the park must have a ticket, even if they chose to not enjoy the rides and slides. 
  • Ocean Breeze Waterpark and Motorworld are separately owned companies and do not offer any combination tickets. Motor World can be reached at (757)422-6419.
  • Admission tickets and season passes are only valid during the season printed on the ticket or pass.

  • All guest should wear appropriate swimsuits. No denim shorts or clothing with rivets, snaps, buttons, belts, buckles, or rhinestones on the back are permitted on the rides. See through, thong style or other revealing swimsuits are not permitted.
  • Shoes and aqua socks are not permitted on certain rides.
  • Eyeglasses may be worn only with safety straps and at the wearer's own risk.

Height Restrictions

Some attractions have height guide lines of 42" while others have a minimum height requirement of 48". View the full list of ride height guidelines.


  • Lifejackets are available to all guests at no additional charge, limited quantities are available.
  • Guests under 48" are required to wear a lifejacket in all areas of the waterpark, except in Hook's Lagoon children's area where it is recommended.
  • Guests may bring their own US Coast Guard approved lifejackets into the park. Water-wings may be used in the children's area and the shallow end of the wave pool when in water no deeper than the wearer's knees. A lifejacket will still be required for guests under 48" in the wave pool.
  • All outside inflatable devices are subject to park management approval and may only be used in the Hook's Lagoon Children's Water Play area.

Food & Beverage

  • Alcoholic beverages not purchased on the grounds are prohibited.  Any person who is under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs will be removed from the park.
  • Glass containers are prohibited.
  • No outside food or beverages are allowed in the Park, except for unopened bottles of water.  Small hand-held coolers only. Some exceptions are made for guests under the age of 3 and guests with medical related dietary restrictions.  Contact a management team member for additional information.
  • We do not allow outside food or beverages into the park. If you would like to bring your lunch we have a picnic area located near the parking lot.
  • The park offers a wide assortment of foods and beverages, including bottled water
  • Small personal size coolers are allowed in the park with sealed clear bottles of water only.

There are many options for food at Ocean Breeze Waterpark.

Two of those ways are Meal Vouchers and Meal Plans. Meal vouchers are redeemable for one combo meal with a regular-sized fountain drink or souvenir cup refill each day of the season.

Season Pass Meal Plans are valid for a combo meal and regular-sized drink or souvenir cup refill on each visit to Ocean Breeze Waterpark from Palm Tree Grill, Shipwreck Subs, Paradise Pizza or River Runners Grill. Your season pass will scan as valid once per day.

All items marked accordingly on our quick-service restaurant menus and cabana menus are included in the Season Pass Meal Plan.

Season Pass Meal Plans

  • Season Pass Meal Plans are redeemed on each visit by a quick-service restaurant cashier who will scan your season pass card upon check-out. 
  • Salads and gluten free snack packs are included in the Season Pass Meal Plan.
  • In order to receive a discount on the purchase of four or more Season Pass Meal Plans you must purchase them all in the same transaction. All kid’s meals are included in the Season Pass Meal Plan.
  • Typically each Season Passholder must be present at the time of redemption. Some exceptions are made for smaller children. In the case of a small child, the parent or guardian can present the card for them while the child waits at their chairs or table.
  • Season Pass Meal Plans can be purchased online and at the waterpark ticket window. Guests must be present for redemption in order to print the Season Pass Meal Plan icon on their Season Pass. With the exception of card reprints as the passholder's picture has already been taken for the season.
  • For children under the age of 3 whose admission is free, an admissions supervisor can issue a complimentary season pass card with purchase of a Season Pass Meal Plan and mark it with an "M" so that the guest will be able to have the season pass card scanned at quick-service restaurants along with the rest of their family.
  • If your child is 2 years of age or under, you may bring in one sandwich bag of food and one juice drink per child. Baby food is permitted as long as it is not in a glass container.
  • If you have a medical dietary restriction you may bring in one sandwich bag of food and one beverage.
  • Gluten free options are available at multiple park locations. The best option is the gluten-free snack packs, which are available at all quick-service outlets. Gluten-free pizzas are available at Paradise Pizza and we also carry salads. However, we can not guarantee they are 100% gluten free as the salads and pizzas are not prepared in a gluten-free kitchen.

As much as we would like to accommodate guests with food allergies, we are not the food manufacturers/suppliers (we get all food and beverage product from third parties), and as such, we regret to inform you that THE PARK CANNOT, AND DOES NOT, MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER REGARDING THE ALLERGY-FREE CONTENTS OF ANY FOODS OR BEVERAGES.  At a minimum, guests with allergy concerns should avoid any foods or beverages unless they are packaged, and you are 100% confident in the manufacturer/supplier which has provided the Park with such food or beverage.  Foods that are in any way unpackaged, prepared, or handled by the Park (as opposed to packaged goods, provided to you in a sealed package), have a higher risk of contamination with other products containing allergens, so in the interests of your safety, we strongly urge you to avoid all such unpackaged products provided by the park.

Personal Food, Beverage and Coolers:
In any event, guests may bring personal foods into the park, to the extent that they are medically necessary (e.g., for diabetics, baby formula for infants, gluten-free foods, or allergy-safe foods for allergies). Please make guest relations aware of your need to do this prior to entering the park. For the safety of our guests, no glass containers are allowed and coolers will need to be checked for contents.

Park & Ride Conduct

  • All guests should shower before entering the water.
  • Smoking and vaping is allowed in the Designated Smoking Areas only.
  • Horseplay, running, diving, unsafe behavior, or failure to obey park rules will result in removal from the park.
  • Eyeglasses may be worn only with safety straps and at the wearer's own risk.
  • Line jumping and profanity is offensive to other guests. Inconsiderate guests will be escorted from the park without refund. 
  • No fins or snorkels are permitted in any pool. Eye goggles are permitted.
  • No tubes are allowed in the Runaway Bay Wave Pool
  • No standing on inner tubes or creating a chain                                         
  • Deck furniture is not allowed in the water or on the painted pool surfaces.
  • ”Dead Man" floating is not allowed.
  • No food, drink, or smoking will be permitted in the water.
  • No diving is allowed in the waterpark.
  • No climbing on railings or on rock formations.
  • No misuse or abuse of any equipment is ever allowed.
  • Do not leave personal items unattended as Ocean Breeze Waterpark is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • All lockers found unsecured with articles in them will be locked and a fee charged.
  • All articles left unattended will be placed in the “Lost and Found.”
  • Items lost the day of your visit can be found at the in-park guest relations kiosk. 
  • Items lost on a previous day can be found at the Welcome Center located to the right of the main entrance.

Minor Policies

  • Guests ages 11 & under must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. Strongly suggested guests ages 12 & 13 are accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.
  • Children should not be left unattended.
  • Diaper wearing guests must wear a protective swim diaper. Swim diapers are available for purchase at Island Trader Gift Shop 

Safety & Accessibility

Ocean Breeze Waterpark is a high activity park.  Every attraction has been designed with a high regard for SAFETY.  However, like any recreational activity, the possibility of injury will always exist.  Therefore, using our facility is at your own risk.

  • If you are pregnant, have heart, back or neck ailments, as well as other physical or mental limitations, it is suggested that you do not ride the attractions in this park.
  • No animals are allowed in the park, except for service dogs. Contact a management team member for additional information.
  • Guests who are or who have recently had gastrointestinal illness should not participate in swimming activities.
  • To assure the safety of all visitors, our lifeguards are ELLIS certified. Additionally, each employee is educated in handling any sort of emergency. The Ocean Breeze Waterpark Rescue Team received a Gold Safety Award for their service last year. This puts our staff in the top of the country in terms of safety.

Accommodations for Guests with Disabilities

Ocean Breeze Waterpark offers discounts on admission for guests with disabilities when presenting 1) Valid, state-issued disability parking placard or card, 2) State-issued proof of disability or 3) Verbal representation that is not contradicted by observable fact.

Ocean Breeze Waterpark is equipped with many features to enhance the experience of guests with disabilities. In 2012, we added a pool lift to our TropiCool Activity pool area to assist guests that are unable to gain entry to and exit from the pool. In addition, two of our main attractions, Runaway Bay wave pool and the Adventure River have zero depth entry beaches. This allows for wheelchairs to access the water and facilitate transfer into the pool or to enjoy the pool from whatever comfortable depth is desired. Free lifejackets are located throughout the park and free inner tubes are available at the Adventure River. Our staff is trained and ready to assist in making our guests experience at the park enjoyable.

Accessible Rides and Attractions (include, but not limited to):

  • Runaway Bay, our million gallon wave pool, with its zero-depth entrance feature is your very own “ocean” with no sand, no jellyfish – just a wide beach leading to Hugh Mongous waves.
  • The Adventure River has a zero-depth entrance to allow riders to pass by shimmering waterfalls, through rollicking waves and get soaked under playful tipping buckets.
  • Hook’s Lagoon Children’s play area has a zero depth entry to the main pool area which is approximately 1 foot in depth. In this area, we have many spray features and Hook’s Lagoon play structure with a giant tipping bucket that sends water splashing all around. This area also includes Little Amazon lazy river with a zero depth entry to offer a pint sized Adventure River experience.
  • TropiCool Island Activity pool is a free swim area of the park that ranges between 3 and 5 feet of water and is accessible with an ADA pool lift.
  • Aquatic wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Visit Guest Relations to inquire about availability.

Discounted admission is available for guests with disabilities. Daily admission is discounted off the regular ticket price. Season passes are offered to guests with disabilities for the lowest price of the season. Discounts are only available in person with documentation.

Some guests with disabilities require a professional caregiver to access the park as they would be unable to attend without assistance. Ocean Breeze Waterpark provides one free admission for a professional caregiver per paying guest with a disability. The caregiver must provide professional documentation in the form of a pay stub, employee ID or other proof of their caregiver credentials. We offer a caregiver season pass for our season pass holders with disabilities that also require a professional caregiver to enjoy the park. Documentation of having a professional caregiver must be presented at the time of issuance. The season pass holder with the disability will be pictured and named on the card. To use the caregiver season pass it must be presented with proper documentation to the gate greeter and the season passholder for which it is issued for must accompany the caregiver.

Service animals are welcome in most locations throughout the Park and can accompany a guest via the standard queue up to the loading point. However, due to safety restrictions, service animals are not allowed to accompany a guest on a ride. Service animals must be on a leash at all times. Any show of hostile behavior towards other guests or employees is unacceptable. Service animals may not be handled by or left with other guests or employees.

Prohibited Items

Including, but not limited to:

  • No beach furniture, umbrellas or radios (excluding personal headsets) are allowed in the park.
  • GoPro’s and other waterproof cameras are NOT permitted on any slides in the park. They ARE permitted in the wave pool, log roll section of the activity pool, and the Adventure River. You are only permitted to use your personal camera to take pictures and/or of your party and not other guests without their permission. 

Refund & Raincheck Policies

No Refunds.  Rainchecks given ONLY under specified situations and according to our raincheck policy.

Raincheck Policy:

  • No refunds are available due to inclement weather. Ride operations may be suspended due to inclement weather and will resume when the conditions clear. If the suspension lasts for more than 90 minutes, while the suspension continues, a rain check will be issued if all of the following conditions are met:
    • The guest has a receipt for today’s admission
    • The guest is leaving the park for the day at the time of issue.

No rain check tickets will be issued after ride operations resume.

Season Passholders

Season Passes can be purchased 24/7 online by clicking the orange, “Season Passes,” button at the top of the page, or at the waterpark daily. 

  • Hard copy season passes are made at the Ocean Breeze Waterpark ticket windows. Simply bring in your printed online voucher or get your pass made at the park the day you purchase it.

2020 Season Passes are on sale now!

You can purchase them online, or at the waterpark where we will take your picture and can print your permanent season pass.

If lost, your season pass can be replaced at the ticket window for $5.

Payment Plans 

Our current payment plan, launching on October 2nd, is a 5-payment plan that allows you to spread the cost of your Ocean Breeze Waterpark Season Pass, Meal Plan, or Locker Pass over 5 convenient payments.

When you chose to pay with a payment plan your payments are 20% of your total purchase value. For example, Season Passes are currently $59.99, making each payment $11.99 The first payment is due at the time of purchase, at which time all taxes and fees will be charged. There are no interest fees for the payment plan, meaning you pay nothing extra when you purchase with a payment plan!

The payment schedule for your payment plan begins at the time of purchase, you will be charged five times beginning at the time of purchase. For example, if you made your initial purchase on November 1st, your remaining payments would be charged to your credit card on December 1st, January 1st, February 1st and March 1st. June 1st, 

Payment plans are available for Season Passes, Meal Plans, and Locker Passes!

Changes to payment type can be made through the payment portal. You will receive a link to the portal in an email after purchasing. You can also follow this direct link to www.oceanbreezewaterpark.com/payments, or visit our Season Pass, Meal Plan and Locker Pass web pages for a link to this portal.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you choose to cancel your payments, all prior payments will be kept and all future payments will be canceled. Your Season Pass, Meal Plan and/or Locker Pass will be canceled.

You will receive a reminder email prior to the payment being charged. Please be sure there are sufficient funds to cover this charge. If your payment declines, your purchase is subject to cancellation. Guests will receive an email with additional information if the card declines on the payment attempt.

You may visit the payment portal at www.oceanbreezewaterpark.com/payments to pay the remaining amount early if you wish to do so.

If you do not wish to pay for your season pass, meal plan, or locker pass you can choose to pay-in-full when adding desired items to your shopping cart.

Thrill seekers are sure to love the Hurricane, while folks looking for some old fashioned fun in the sun love to relax on the Adventure River! Little Buccaneers can have a blast in Hook’s Lagoon, and their parents are sure to love the monster-slide complex Neptune’s Revenge. There is no top attraction, but there is something for everyone!
  • Ocean Breeze Waterpark is full of fantastic restaurants! Even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something delightful at Ocean Breeze Waterpark! We have separate offerings at our four quick-service restaurants – Palm Tree Grill, Shipwreck Subs, Paradise Pizza and River Runners. But you’re also sure to find something you love at the Slush Factory or Dippin’ Dots!
  • When you visit us be sure to bring everything you need! Some suggestions include swimsuits (but they should be free of snaps, buckles, or zippers), plus flip-flops, wallets, sunscreen, towels, and earplugs for those with sensitive ears. If you bring valuables like iPods, jewelry, or laptops, it’s best to rent a locker to keep them locked up.


  • All inner tubes are FREE at Ocean Breeze Waterpark!
  • We do not allow outside rafts, body boards, or any other personal flotation devices to be brought into the park, with the exception of U.S. Coast Guard approved life vests. 
  • There is a 250 lb. weight limit for riding a single tube, and a 400 lb. combined weight limit for riding in a double tube on all rides. A single rider who surpasses the single tube weight limit may ride on a double tube alone on rides that allow the use of a double tube. 
  • A parent and a small child may ride together on the Grape Escape, the South Seas Silly Slides and in the Adventure River. Children ages 3 & up that are under 42" may also ride on Largo Loop with their parent in a double tube if they are wearing a lifejacket and in a specially marked tube with a bottom. Children between 42" and 48" may ride in a double tube with a parent on Trident, Earth Shaker or Sea Serpent.
  • We require all guests under 48" to wear a lifejacket in waters above their waist and the accompaniment of an adult.
  • Locker rentals are available to secure any personal belongings you bring to the park.
