Our History
In 1974, Ocean Breeze Waterpark began with three mat slides and the distinction of being the only waterpark in Virginia Beach. Fourty-seven years later, the park has grown to over 30 rides, slides and attractions and strives to be the family destination of choice for locals and tourists alike.
Our typical season runs from the weekend before Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor Day.

Ready to float down the quarter-mile Adventure River? How about another turn, or four, on the monster slide complex Neptune’s Revenge? Maybe the thought of just sitting poolside with a funnel cake in one hand and a book in the other makes you break into a full grin.
Our zero depth entry million-gallon wave pool gives you the option to ride the waves or relax in the shallow end. Even the littlest buccaneers can go on a high-seas adventure in our water playground with a pint sized pirate ship and tipping bucket in Hook’s Lagoon.
